Presenter:

Tara Palmer is a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor through ACE, AEA, AFAA, and the Cooper Institute of Aerobics. She has over ten years of experience teaching older adults, individuals with chronic conditions, and pregnant women using mind-body techniques and therapies. Tara is a certified Reiki practitioner and enjoys sharing her passion for fitness as an educator and presenter for Fit Motivation and Aquatic Options Education.

Workshop Details:

1) Fluid Strength Combo (shallow-hand bars and noodles): Take away several rhythmic strength combinations that can be used as optional activities after the cardio segment; or strung together as a muscle conditioning class. This pool workout utilizes noodles and foam hand bars and features creative resistance training, abs, Pilates-inspired moves and more!

Workshop Length: 9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.

2) Cardio Blast (shallow-no equipment): Challenge your stamina in this high energy shallow water workout that is built from easy to learn choreography and creative transitioning techniques. Work the resistance of the water in an exciting combination of explosive plyometric drills, travelling patterns and impact options guaranteed to challenge even your veteran participants.
